Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply for a wedding or function booking

A wedding or function booking can be held for up to two weeks provisionally, after this time a non-refundable deposit of £500 .00 & written confirmation is required to confirm the booking. A further payment of 50% of the balance is due six months prior to the date. The final balance of the total cost should be paid 4 weeks prior to the date of the wedding or function. Leaving only extras to settle upon departure.

All of our function menus are flexible and can be altered to suit individual requirements; a reasonable accurate number of guests are required at the time of booking. Once guest numbers are agreed, reductions will incur cancellation charges as follow:

Between confirmation and 6 months - no charge
Between 6 months and 3 months 25% for each guest
Between 3 Months and 4 weeks 50% for each guest
Between 4 weeks up to the date 100% for each guest

If a disco is chosen as part of the entertainment, we have our own resident disc jockey. For outside entertainment a charge will be incurred.

It is not permitted for any person to consume beverages which have not been purchased at the hotel anyone found doing so will be asked to leave the premises.

Whilst we take the utmost care during your stay the hotel does not accept any liability in respect of any loss or damage to your possessions.

The hotel reserves the right to cancel any booking forthwith and without any liability on its part in the event of any damage or destruction to the hotel by fire or any other cause, any shortages of labour or food supplies, strikes, lock outs or industrial action, or any other cause beyond the control of the company which shall prevent it from performing its obligation in connection with any booking.

The customer shall be responsible for the orderly conduct of its guests, and shall ensure against anything which will constitute a breach of the law. The customer shall fully indemnify the hotel against claims, loss or damage arising as a result of breach of this clause.

If a wedding reception or function is to be cancelled after being confirmed, regrettably, cancellation charges will apply.

Charges as follows:

1 month or under prior to the date 100% of the final invoice
Between 3 months and 1 month prior to the date 50% of the final invoice
Between 6 months and 3 months prior to the date 25% of the final invoice
Between confirmation and 6 months prior to the date deposit only

All cancellations must be given in writing

A room hire charge may be incurred for functions in certain circumstances.

All prices are subject to change with notification.

All function bookings on confirmation must sign the terms and agreement form.
