Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Birthday lunch. Excellent service, gorgeous food and very dog friendly. The views from the hotel are stunning. To sit outside in the gardens with coffee and cake and soak up the countryside was the best.

Verified Excellent food and excellent service.
We went to the restaurant for a catch up and were thoroughly impressed. The food was excellent (and generous portion sizes), service was impressive and the prices were very reasonable. The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere. The friends I went with were both impressed and are already talking about a return visit.

 Verified Lovely night
Visited early April on a quiet teatime. Had the three course special menu. Food was delicious, restaurant was nicely decorated. Served by the lovely Freya, she was attentive and had a great personality. She advised on the menu very well, whatever they’re paying her, it isn’t enough ! Haven’t been here for years but will certainly be back very soon

 Verified Amazing Dinner
Came for a Sunday dinner and have to say was thoroughly impressed throughout. Was greeted warmly at the host station by Leah and seated to a table in the bar area. Went to order my drink and food at the bar was served promptly by one of the bar lads was friendly and chatty. Ordered the tomato soup and roast lamb honestly the soup was great served with a warm bun. Once finished was cleared and the lamb arrived quickly, and was superb. Everything was amazing just want to thank Chris (the chef) and Molly who served me mostly while here. Will be back and would highly recommend

Verified 60th party went with a bang !!
My wife and I decided to have a joint 60th celebration party here on the 28th Feb. From the first meeting with the organiser until the last balloon was popped it went so smooth. The venue, the staff , the buffet was excellent cant praise it highly enough. I would definately recommend the venue for an event.
